Paris Hilton Talks New Music, Globetrotting & How To Have A “Good Time”: Watch

Here’s the one thing you need to know about Paris Hilton: She is really, sincerely having a good time. In between DJing in Ibiza, launching hotels in Manila and throwing house parties in Malibu, the heiress-turned-songbird just dropped “Good Time,” the first single from her upcoming second album (and her first as a Cash Money Records signee and Lil Wayne‘s latest protege).

But even seven years after her debut album Paris silenced the detractors with a solid set of polished pop songs (hell, even Pitchfork wrote that “Stars Are Blind” was “so lovely and decent, I want to stab out my eyeballs”), cementing her status as dance-pop royalty, Hilton remains the same fun-loving party girl as ever. (She also happens to be at the helm of a $100 million dollar global enterprise of brands and businesses, but whatever.) Speaking at length about the sound of her upcoming LP (with collaborations promised from Snoop Dogg and Flo Rida), corralling sexy friends for her wild music videos and the songs in her DJ set that get the crowd extra turnt up, Hilton was thoroughly convincing: She’s almost definitely having a better time than you are.

Don’t get jealous — watch the interview up top.
