Watch Kendrick Lamar’s Full, Drake-Dissing BET Awards Cypher Freestyle

Roughly two weeks ago, a chunk of Kendrick Lamar‘s BET Awards Cypher hit the Web, and it just so happened that the section in question contained a very clear shot at Drake: “Nothin’ been the same since they dropped ‘Control’ / And tucked a sensitive rapper back in his pajama clothes.” Well last night (October 15) the Awards aired, and with them the full cypher freestyles. Black Hippy ran the TDE cypher, with freestyles from K-Dot, Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul and Jay Rock (plus SZA in the house!), while the A$APs Rocky and Ferg repped A$AP Mob, plus Lil Kim, Action Bronson and Travi$ Scott had their own session on the mic.

But all eyes were on K-Dot, and he started things off with a line that illustrated the utter disdain and disrespect he was about to spew forth: “I hate y’all, I do anything to replace y’all.” After that, it was a two-minute cascade of insults and brags, with the Compton kid having his way with the beat and spitting syllables like falling dominoes.

It requires a couple listens to absorb everything, but it turns out his Drake diss was the most overt attack of his entire verse — which may actually make it even more pointed. The rest comprised non-specific boasts and generalities that, while ice cold (“I’m the master that masturbated on your favorite emcee), weren’t nearly as incendiary as his recent tactic of naming names.

Check out King Kendrick’s cypher up top (he comes in at 4:05), then head below to see A$AP Rocky, Travi$ and the rest.
