Cher Lloyd Announces Sophomore Album Title, ‘Sorry I’m Late’
The winsome Cher Lloyd is back with a new single (“I Wish,” already underperforming on the charts, which is just sigh) and a sophomore LP due out sometime on Epic Records — and in an interview with Billboard, she went a little off book with an extemporaneous reveal of her album title.
‘I don’t know how my team are going to feel about this, but I would love to announce my album title here on Billboard. Oh, I’m so excited!” she enthused. “Okay, here it goes. So, my album title is Sorry I’m Late.”
So what exactly does it all mean? Let Cher explain: “I think it has two meanings,” she said. “It’s been a long time since I’ve actually done anything new, but for me, it’s as a person. I mean, I’ve spent a whole lot of time trying to figure out who I am, and I think everybody goes through that.”
Also please take note of Lloyd’s new veneers, which are very large and very white and very shiny.
