Cody Simpson has come a long way from making YouTube videos in Australia to his current status as an international phenomenon with a top 10 album and support slot on Justin Bieber‘s blockbuster Believe tour. The 16-year-old has now documented his roller-coaster ride to fame in an autobiography that hits book stores next week (October 22, to be exact).

To celebrate the launch of Cody’s literary career, we’re bringing you closer to the teen heartthrob with a series of videos outlining his favorite things. A new clip will debut on Idolator each day next week but we also have a special treat for you today.

When Cody dropped by the studio, we asked him to bring along a bunch of outfits to teach us the art of dreaminess.
