Taylor Swift’s “Sweeter Than Fiction”: Hear The Shimmery, Jack Antonoff-Assisted Tune
Taylor Swift‘s contribution to the One Chance soundtrack has hit the Web, and it’s pretty great. “Sweeter Than Fiction,” which Swift co-wrote with with fun. guitarist Jack Antonoff, finds the young superstar channeling everything from Tom Petty to The Killers to Twin Shadow here — or maybe Antonoff is the one channeling all that repurposed ’80s sheen. Either way, it’s a, yes, sweet song, but the confident synth-pop/New Wave stylings keep it from being an overly saccharine affair, resultingly in a surprisingly bold offering from Swift.
The song plays during the closing credits of One Chance, and it will be available at midnight tonight (October 21) on iTunes. Stream it below.
