Who knew Angel Haze had such a phenomenal voice? The talented femcee certainly knows how to spit a rhyme (listen to her freestyle over Kanye West‘s “Black Skinhead” for proof) over a slick beat but the rising rap diva proves that she can sing just as well on a surprisingly great acoustic cover of Miley Cyrus“Wrecking Ball”.

Accompanied by only a guitar, Ms. Haze delivers a surprisingly heartfelt cover that rivals Miley’s own acoustic version in terms of passion and vocal skill. The track is part of the 22-year-old’s 30 Gold Series. She is interpreting a new song every day for a month to create some buzz for her already much-anticipated Dirty Gold LP. Based on her pure talent alone, it’s going to be a killer debut. Listen to “Wrecking Ball” after the jump.
