Lady Gaga was stripping down and tearing it up on The X Factor UK Sunday (October 27), but Katy Perry beat her to that stage, bringing “Roar” to the show last week. And KP moves fast — she was Down Under for The X Factor Australia season finale tonight, giving her Aussie fans two performances with “Roar” and “Unconditionally.”
For her latest single, Perry was flanked by a drum line, which gave the Prism ballad some added heft, and she played up her big puppy dog eyes to maximum effect. As for “Roar,” it got yet another stage treatment, with Katy decked out in a dark green shawl to go with her stage’s neo-Emerald City theme this time (oh we get it, Land of Oz).
