Eminem’s ‘The Marshall Mathers LP 2’: Stream The MC’s Blockbuster Sequel

After getting off to a relatively slow start to Rick Rubin-produced lead single “Bezerk”, hype for Eminem‘s The Marshall Mathers LP 2 has built with each subsequent buzz single — reaching a commercial crescendo with iTunes chart-topping Rihanna collaboration “The Monster”.

The material we’ve heard thus far has been aggressively eclectic. There’s the fury of “Survival”, the bravado (and homophobic slurs) of “Rap God” and the pop sensibility of “The Monster”. That mixed bag approach is definitely reflected on the rest of the often-schizoid album. While there’s definitely something for everyone , it lacks the cohesion and power of Recovery.

Stream the rap legend’s latest LP after the jump.

Listen to The Marshall Mathers LP 2 here. Does the 41-year-old still have what it takes to mix it with Kanye West and Kendrick Lamar? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
