One Direction are all grown up in the video for their new, great, extra-Mumford-y single “Story Of My Life,” which tells — well, the story of their lives, respectively, and also the story of Zayn Malik‘s facial hair. (Here’s the story: It exists. Same with Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne. Weird, right?)
No, but seriously, it’s a lovely and touching clip that pays homage to their respective personal histories, using some nifty imagery that brings family photographs to life as they stare mournfully around a darkroom and then all sing together. (Look at Harry Styles belting it out!)
