Blake Shelton said he’s always dreamed of winning Album of the Year at the CMA Awards, and last night (November 6), the Voice coach’s dream came true. Based On A True Story… took home top honors, and for the fourth year in a row (!), Shelton and his wife Miranda Lambert won Male Vocalist and Female Vocalist of the Year.

But there were also some new names announced during Country Music’s Biggest Night, hosted by Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley. Country crossover stars Florida Georgia Line capped off a huge year with a pair of big wins: Single of the Year for “Cruise,” and Vocal Duo of the Year. Plus, our favorite country singer of the moment, Kacey Musgraves, deservingly nabbed New Artist of the Year honors.

You may be wondering about the uncharacteristic dearth of Taylor Swift hardware, but pop’s fairy princess didn’t totally come away empty-handed. She was honored with the Pinnacle Award. Prior to the broadcast, she also received two awards — along with Tim McGraw and Keith Urban — as the McGraw collaboration “Highway Don’t Care” was named Music Video of the Year and Musical Event of the Year. Head to the official CMA site for the full list of winners.
