Tori Kelly Goes High-Gloss In “Dear No One” Video: Watch

Tori Kelly may have gone from major label artist to indie act all the way back to major label artist again (with a management deal with Scooter Braun and signing to Capitol Records), and it shows in the production values in the songbird’s video for lead single “Dear No One”: It looks pretty and expensive.

Gone are the trappings of Kelly’s YouTube covers that helped launch her popularity; this one a sweet, slightly mournful video that sees the songbird walking the streets of New York with a bountiful head of curls, trailing an ephemeral gentleman who disappears in the final moments of the clip. Ah, love.

The song is smooth and infectious, and the clip provides a great introduction for those unfamiliar with Kelly’s prodigious vocal abilities. A+, all around.

Watch it up top.
