This is either brilliant or just more proof that all the creatives are out of new ideas. Alanis Morissette is bringing her sneering ’90s smash Jagged Little Pill to Broadway. The Canadian singer’s entire 1995 international debut will be adapted for a jukebox musical, also titled Jagged Little Pill, along with other songs from her catalog and new tracks penned by Morissette for the show.

“I look forward to taking the heart of Jagged Little Pill and expanding its story,” she said, and we’re hoping that means more details about her doomed relationship with Dave Coulier. The show will get orchestration and arrangements from Tony winner Tom Kitt, who worked on Green Day‘s American Idiot stage show. It’s scheduled to debut as a workshop production in 2014, giving you plenty of time to think up more “Ironic” jokes.
