Kanye West Will Debut His “Bound 2” Video (Starring Kim Kardashian, Maybe) On ‘Ellen’ (No, Really)

Kanye West makes for an unusual guest on talk shows, because of his loud candor but also the cognitive dissonance between how he appears on a couch and portrays himself in Yeezus. In the album he’s anti-pop if not anti-establishment, as he snarls through certain lines, imagines himself pillaging through the Hamptons and demands that you hurry up with his damn croissants.

As announced today, West will go one step further on Tuesday, Nov. 19, when he debuts his “Bound 2” video on — wait for it — The Ellen DeGeneres Show. For reference, child YouTube stars (and Ellen regulars) Sophia Grace and Rosie appear the day before to perform “Can’t Hold Us” by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.

Ellen‘s official site also hints that West’s “Bound 2” video “may or may not” star his fiance Kim Kardashian. Either way, while the show’s yet to release a promo trailer for West’s spot, Saturday Night Live did provide an oddly timely hint of what to expect in a new skit called “Waking Up With Kimye.”

“What better way to start your morning than with my energy, my opinions and the sound of Kim’s voice?” “Kanye” says, before host and musical guest Lady Gaga (!) enters as an Apple employee. Check it out after the jump.
