Kids Of The Apocalypse Unveil New Song “Empire”: Listen
Way back in January, I posted about Kids Of The Apocalypse, the mysterious new pop collective whose debut video “Masters Of The Sun” teased very promising things — and now the Kids are back with a proper single “Empire,” which picks up where those auspicious beginnings left off in a very good way.
Storming, drum-and-bass-infused production and contrasting vocals — one set low, deep and tribal and another high, sweet, and harmonious — on “Empire” make the upcoming formal launch of Kids Of The Apocalypse all the more intriguing.
It’s curiously soulful and gorgeously haunting.
