Wiz Khalifa Talks About Working With Adele On ‘Blacc Hollywood’

Wiz Khalifa sat down with AXS TV Tuesday (November 19) to talk about his forthcoming album Blacc Hollywood, and shed some light on how his collaboration with Adele came about. Turns out it was all thanks to that whole “motherly connection” thing after his then-fiancee Amber Rose, who was pregnant at the time, bumped into Adele at the Grammys in February.

“We seen each other at the Grammys. She ran up on Amber. She was like, ‘Amber! Amber!’ And told her how beautiful she looked,” Wiz told AXS. “Her people contacted some of my people when they found out that we were working on the album and sent some ideas through, so we were able to knock some things out.”

Unfortunately, that’s all he revealed about their collab (and he didn’t address the status of that Miley Cyrus feature). But while there has yet to be an official announcement that Adele will appear on his O.N.I.F.C. follow-up, we can’t imagine a song with the British goddess would ever fail to make the album cut. Your move, Pusha T.
