Ariana Grande, Austin Mahone, Fifth Harmony & More Perform At Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade: Watch

Thanksgiving may bring family and friends together, but odd pairings dominated the floats shown at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Fifth Harmony sang their new single “Better Together” on one sponsored by Goldfish Crackers, while Fall Out Boy performed “Alone Together” nearby the cast of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Meanwhile Ariana Grande riffed on Wham!‘s “Last Christmas” with her own song of the same name, one about heartbreak — “What you did last December, you left my heart a mess” — while next to a clapping Dora the Explorer.

Most of the parade’s featured pop acts, including the already-young Austin Mahone and Cher Lloyd, were made to appear even younger on floats. So in a twist, Late Night‘s Jimmy Fallon and The Roots instead teamed up with the cast of Sesame Street to perform with classroom instruments in the show’s signature style — what may have been the parade’s best attempt at wholesome fun. Watch Fifth Harmony’s performance up top, then check out the rest after the jump.
