Everytime (Britney spelling!) A Great Big World perform their surprise hit ballad “Say Something” live, it’s an angelic feather in Christina Aguilera‘s wig. The world at large stumbled upon the song when the duo hit up The Voice last month and staged a moving rendition of the duet with coach Aguilera on national television. “Say Something,” originally released nearly a year ago sans the pipes of Xtina, suddenly shot up iTunes and earned all involved an invitation to perform the track live at the American Music Awards. The results of that event are now in: “Say Something” has moved into the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100.

Yes, while such odes to shot-taking and boinking as “Not Myself Tonight” and “Your Body” have failed to garner Christina much chart success in recent years, the throaty Mouseketeer has carved out quite a niche as The Go-To Features Diva — something underscored by the fact that her last three Top 10 hits have come courtesy of cameos on Maroon 5‘s “Moves Like Jagger” (#1 in 2011), Pitbull‘s “Feel This Moment” (#8 in 2013) and now A Great Big World’s “Say Something” (#10, so far, in 2013).

It’s probably worth noting the week’s other chart news, the fact that Miley Cyrus“Wrecking Ball” has now swung back around after initially hitting #1 in October, and topped the Hot 100 once again (thus ending the nine-week reign of Lorde‘s “Royals”).

But, honestly — let’s get back to what’s really important: Christina Aguilera. Vote below on your favorite of the singer’s iconic Top 10-charting collaborations with other artists!
