Pusha T To Work With The Neptunes In January For Sophomore Album ‘King Push’

Pusha T announced Tuesday night (December 17) at a New York City Apple event that he’ll be heading to the studio with The Neptunes to begin work on his sophomore album King Push. “On January 2nd, me, Pharrell and Chad [Hugo] are going in the studio for 20 days,” the rapper said. “That will start the King Push album.”

It’s a reunion of sorts for the trio, as Pharrell and Hugo produced all three albums for Pusha’s rap duo Clipse. But only Pharrell linked back up with Push for his debut solo effort My Name Is My Name, producing two tracks and appearing on “S.N.I.T.C.H.”

MNIMN was released on G.O.O.D. Music earlier this year and executive produced by Kanye West, and there’s no word yet on how much West will be involved with the follow-up.
