Tessanne Chin Performs “Tumbling Down” On ‘Jay Leno’: Watch
Jamaican songstress Tessanne Chin proved triumphant on The Voice, as she was crowned the winner earlier this week, and lo and behold — she’s already doing the kinds of things befitting a star-in-the-making. Namely, she stopped by The Tonight Show With Jay Leno to perform her good-but-not-great winner’s single “Tumbling Down,” and fortunately, her stage presence injects some additional life into the Ryan Tedder production that feels lacking in the studio version.
She’s obviously a seasoned performer at this point, and her live vocals are impressive — still, though, I think she’s going to need some new material to really get the hype cracking.
