Leona Lewis Dazzles With “One More Sleep” On ‘The X Factor’ US: Watch
It was an unusually cheery celebration last night on The X Factor, as animal rights activist/chanteuse Leona Lewis returned to her talent competition roots by stopping by the US edition of the show (the UK version of which she won in 2006) to perform her still-my-favorite-of-the-whole-holiday-season Christmas single “One More Sleep.” As with previous performances, the staging was pleasingly high-camp, with a lot of backup dancers outfitted in glittery suits and an aggressively festive set.
Again — if only they had put this much promotion into Glassheart, eh?
Friendly reminder: Lewis’ great Christmas, With Love is actually out in the US, and makes for exceptional holiday listening.
