Miley Cyrus’ NYE Celebration Included A Ryan Seacrest Smooch At Midnight
It’s only fitting that we’re two days into 2014 but we’re still talking about how Miley Cyrus helped us close out 2013. Miley performed “#Getitright” and “Wrecking Ball” in Times Square as part of ABC’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, and it was… rather tame and forgettable, actually. But even though she didn’t steal attention care of a controversial performance, Miley still managed to outdo everyone by getting a kiss from host Ryan Seacrest when the ball dropped.
Only, ABC’s cameras never captured the moment on the live broadcast. But don’t worry, Miley would never let a pop culture headline like that vanish into the ether, so she tweeted her disappointment a few hours later, and then got her hands on a photograph of the moment and posted it Wednesday (January 1).
