Hear Rick Ross “Freestyle” Over Kanye West’s “Bound 2”
Rick Ross celebrated the New Year by unveiling a “freestyle” over Kanye West‘s “Bound 2.” Rozay starts off with a laid back flow, then about 30 seconds into the thing, he starts it over again verbatim, to give it the effect of a true freestyle (we’re guessing). But, ya know, since it isn’t a real freestyle, that part is kind of annoying.
After that, though, the Mastermind MC lounges over the soulful beat and rhymes about everything from the Kardashian Krew to [plays it back again to make sure] putting your infant in a blender. This remix makes you wait even longer for that glorious Charlie Wilson hook, and when it finally kicks in at the halfway point, the song switches over to Ye’s original verses (with the “Maybach Music” drop chirping in the background, of course).
