Kanye West Extends Yeezus Tour: See The New Dates
Kanye West closed out his artful Yeezus tour just before the New Year in Toronto, with a surprise appearance from Drake. But Yeezy season has been extended, as West announced a second leg of dates for 2014. This string of shows begins at Penn State’s Bryce Jordan Center on February 13, then works the Eastern Seaboard and Canada, wrapping up February 23 at Long Island’s Nassau Coliseum. (Sorry Kim, but he’s working on Valentine’s Day.)
West’s ambitious arena tour had a few hiccups early on in 2013, after a key piece of equipment was damaged in transit, but after a short hiatus, Kanye treated venues across the country to his stark vision comprising a giant mountain, a bouncing triangular stage and a huge circular LED screen. And many, many masks.
Kendrick Lamar, A Tribe Called Quest, Travi$ Scott and Pusha T provided support the first time around, but there’s no word yet on openers for this leg. See the new dates below.
