The Vamps Record “Wild Heart” Remix With Pixie Lott: Watch A Preview

If you aren’t obsessed with British boy band The Vamps, you aren’t paying attention. Their sophomore single “Wild Heart” is the catchiest tune yet to take the radio-friendly roots-rock of Mumford & Sons (that’s since been reimagined by One Direction and Avicii, respectively) and give it a proper pop makeover, all stomping and clapping and banjos (or some instrument that sounds like them, at least).

Now, the song is getting a (fairly confusing) remix package, including a new mix with vocal assistance from fellow UK act Pixie Lott; that version, which sees Lott taking the helm for the second verse, sounds less slickly produced, with more organic instrumentation.

A two-minute preview has popped up online, with the full version to be released on January 19. Watch it up top.
