Governors Ball 2014 Lineup: Outkast, Jack White, Vampire Weekend Headline

After a week of teases and clues, the 2014 Governors Ball lineup has been unveiled. Not surprisingly, Outkast are at the top of the bill for the New York City festival, along with Jack White and Vampire Weekend. The lineup was unveiled in an ad in the New York Times this morning (January 15) and it’s crawling with big names. Acts that have gotten top billing at festivals like Coachella in previous years have been knocked down to second-font status (sorry, Phoenix) — that’s how much star power we’re dealing with.

In addition to Outkast, some of the established names we have our eyes on are Janelle MonaeFoster The People, Disclosure, Skrillex, J. Cole, La Roux and Tyler, the Creator. There’s a nice spread of emerging acts, too, including some of our favorites like AlunaGeorge, BANKS, Haerts and The Internet.

Gov Ball takes place June 6-8 at Randall’s Island in NYC, and tickets go on sale at 3 p.m. ET. Head below to see a screencap of the NYT ad, captured by My Social List, and check out the full lineup at the Governors Ball website, which includes a few late additions that aren’t on the print ad.
