Drake Shows Off His Acting Chops In ‘SNL’ Promos: Watch
Drake is the host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live‘s January 18 episode this weekend, and the hip-hop titan hunkered down in the recording studio with cast members Bobby Moynihan and Jay Pharoah for four-and-a-half minutes’ worth of promos. There are plenty of “Hey Drake, listen to this beat I made” gags, but the best bits involve a stupid “Started From The Bottom” joke and a scene with Drizzy showing off his dramatic acting skills.
With this appearance, the Nothing Was The Same rapper will join the pantheon of pop stars who have pulled double duty on the show recently, including Justin Bieber, Justin Timberlake and Lady Gaga. Watch his promos up top.
