Here’s Prince With Zooey Deschanel In A Still From ‘New Girl’
Following the Super Bowl on February 2, FOX will air a new episode of New Girl featuring none other than Prince, who is a big fan of the show. And with the episode approaching, more details about the plot are being revealed. As reported back in December, it revolves around the gang scoring an invite to one of Prince’s all night parties, and it’s there that the legendary musician takes a liking to Jess (Zooey Deschanel). But her boyfriend Nick (Jake Johnson) is quick to tell the Purple One, ” “It’s an honor to give you my girlfriend,” according to TV Guide. As you can see from the above still from the episode, awkwardness ensues.
Prince has indirectly given us some very memorable comedy moments in recent years (the Chappelle sketch, the SNL spoofs, this GIF), but it’ll be kind of surreal to see the man himself playing the jester on a sitcom.
