JoJo Tweets About Winning Freedom From Blackground Music, Thanks Her Supporters
Music lovers expressed a collective sigh of relief yesterday (January 14) when news broke that JoJo had finally escaped seven years of label limbo with Blackgroud Music and signed a deal with Atlantic Records. Twitter soon exploded with words of encouragement but the 23-year-old kept silent — choosing to simply retweet articles covering the story.
After expressing her frustration at getting a parking ticket on her way to hot yoga (possibly the most LA sentence ever written), the reinvigorated diva jumped on Twitter this afternoon to express her gratitude to supporters and her loyal team. “You helped make a way out of no way,” she tweeted. See JoJo’s reaction to the best news of 2014 after the jump.
