Is Beyonce Going To Perform At Jay Z’s Super Bowl Eve Concert?

Last year in New Orleans, Jay Z surprised fans Super Bowl weekend by taking the stage with a newly returned Justin Timberlake to perform their recently unveiled collaboration “Suit & Tie,” as part of DirecTV’s Super Saturday Night concert on the eve of the big game. Jay himself is headlining the event this year in New York City ahead of Super Bowl XLVIII, and rumors are buzzing that he has his own surprise in store, with Beyonce expected to make an appearance for a live rendition of “Drunk In Love.” (Billboard claims promoters reaching out to Bey’s camp have been told she’s “booked” that weekend, but DirecTV offered no comment regarding the speculation.)

The February 1 event will be co-hosted by New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban at SuperFan Stadium in Hudson River Park’s Pier 40. The 6,000-strong gig is invite-only.
