Drake Performs “Started From The Bottom” & “Trophies” On ‘Saturday Night Live’: Watch
Drake served as both host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live on January 18, where he kept the show lively with a strong opening monologue (in which he apologized for the proliferation of “YOLO”) and a string of solid impressions — from Jay-Z to Lil Wayne as Urkel to Katt Williams.
Later, he took the stage to perform a medley of “Started From The Bottom” and “Trophies” on a mostly darkened stage, illuminated by only a red light that made him look oddly saturated.
After that, he performed a medley of “Hold On, We’re Going Home” (stripped-down and raw) and “From Time,” with Jhene Aiko performing supporting vocal duties.
