Ke$ha Updates Fans Via Twitter: “I’m Overwhelmed To Tears By All Of The Love… I’ll Be Back Soon”

Since Ke$ha released a statement regarding her admission into rehab for an eating disorder, she’s been (understandably) off the radar. But her mother, Pebe Sebert, has ably filled the void, placing the blame on Dr. Luke and her daughter’s other industry collaborators, and the latest development in this sad, strange tale is that Pebe herself checked into rehab. But today (January 21), K$ broke her silence, updating fans by having her friend relay a message to them via Twitter — and she seems to be in good spirits.

“This is Kesha’s friend. She asked me to tweet an update for her because she doesn’t have access to twitter right now,” the first post read. “She says ‘THANK YOU. SOOO MUCH. I’m overwhelmed to tears by all of the love, letters, and support!! I’ll be back soon and better than ever.'” Ke$ha also expressed her shock that “Timber” is still number one, signing off with “Fck YEAH animals! PARTY ON!!!!”
