Prince Announces ‘Hit & Run’ Tour In London
Prince continues to surprise, this time with an impromptu tour appropriately titled “Hit & Run.” He and his band 3rdEyeGirl will perform at venues “in and around” London starting next month, while dates will be announced at a press conference…held at Lianne La Havas‘ flat. La Havas, a BBC Sound of 2012 pick, met Prince during her US tour supporting her excellent debut, Is Your Love Big Enough?
Although Prince did not mention exactly when the press conference will be held, La Havas did confirm the location with an epic tweet.

A press release also confirms that Prince and 3rdEyeGirl will tour on behalf of its album Plectrum Electrum, meaning that new songs could be on their way as well. Then again, who knows — over the past year, they’ve only released new songs (“FIXURLIFEUP,” “Screw Driver,” “Breakfast Can Wait”) as buzz tracks, and mostly unannounced.
