Kylie Minogue Covers Tom Aspaul’s “Indiana” On ‘Kiss Me Once’: Listen To His Original Version

Kylie Minogue unveiled her Kiss Me Once tracklist yesterday (January 26) and internet detectives quickly determined that “Feels So Good” was most likely a cover of Tom Aspaul‘s “Indiana” based on the songwriting and production credits. It was later confirmed by the London-based singer/songwriter on Twitter.

So what did the Australian pop legend see in “Indiana”? Well, for starters, it’s one hell of a good pop song. Produced by MNEK (who also helmed Kylie’s version), the track has a lush synth soundscape that positively shimmers against simple yet undeniably pretty lyrics like “don’t have to run we can walk in the sun one last time”. It even has chirping cicadas! In the “Into The Blue” diva’s capable hands, this could be extraordinary. Listen after the jump.
