Iggy Azalea’s Much-Delayed Debut LP ‘The New Classic’ Finally Has A Release Date

Iggy Azalea‘s much-delayed/anticipated debut LP The New Classic finally has release date. The rap diva’s album drops April 14 and the set’s official lead single — what happened to “Change Your Life”? — should be on the airwaves any day now. This is great news for long-suffering Azaleans who have been waiting since 2012.

Hopefully everything is in place to ensure that the Aussie femcee escapes the female rap curse. I’m not joking. Angel Haze and Kreayshawn both delivered spectacularly unsuccessful albums, while Azealia Banks spent the weekend on Twitter  begging to be dropped by Universal. Iggy’s music has a more commercial edge, so she’s in with a chance. May the force be with you!

Can Iggy succeed where so many ladies have failed? Have your say in the comments below.
