Vance Joy’s “Riptide” Tops JJJ Hottest 100, Reaches The UK Top 10 & Announces US Tour Dates

It’s been a big week for Melbourne-based singer/songwriter Vance Joy. His break-out hit “Riptide”, a triple platinum success at home, topped JJJ’s Hottest 100 (a prestigious annual radio countdown compiled from thousands of listener votes across Australia) and broke into the UK top 10.

The Popping Up artist is also gaining momentum stateside. “Riptide” has just been named iTunes’ Single of the Week — you can download it for free here — and he has been added to Young The Giant‘s North American tour (see the dates after the jump). With a plethora of live performances and radio appearances on the horizon, don’t be surprised if Vance repeats his success in the US.
