Neneh Cherry And Robyn Debut “Out Of The Black” (Bouvet Remix): Listen To Their Duet

Neneh Cherry will drop her Blank Project comeback album on February 25 — a mere 18 years after releasing Man in 1996. Joining the “Buffalo Stance” diva on her much-welcomed return is fellow Swede Robyn. They unite for a duet called “Out Of The Black” and kindly posted a remix online today (February 4).

Given the experimental nature of Blank Project, the ’80s pop-influenced mix (courtesy of Norwegian DJ Bouvet) is surprisingly fun and melodic. “I’m skipping down the street trying to mind my business,” begins Neneh over shimmery synths before Robyn joins her — throwing around kooky lyrics about wolves and having a fever. Listen to the endearingly quirky tune after the jump.

“Out Of The Black (Bouvet Mix)” will be a bonus track on physical copies of Blank Project. Did you get what you wanted from the much-hyped collaboration? Let us know in the comments below.
