Olivia Newton-John Announces ‘Summer Nights’ Las Vegas Residency
Olivia Newton-John has announced a 45-date Las Vegas residency at The Flamingo. The Australian icon will set up shop in the Donny and Marie Showroom from April 8 until the end of summer. Her Summer Nights show promises solo hits like “Physical” and “Xanadu” as well as Grease classics like “Hopelessly Devoted To You” and “You’re The One That I Want”.
The ageless 65-year-old follows in the footsteps of fellow divas Celine Dion, Shania Twain and Britney Spears, who are credited with reviving the concept of a Vegas residency. Olivia’s addition to Sin City’s smorgasbord of entertainment options is a great idea. Her canon of hits is untouchable and she’s the consummate live performer. Tickets go on sale February 7.
