Boots, The Mystery Man Behind Much Of ‘Beyonce’, Drops New Song “Dust”: Listen

Boots became one of the hottest producers overnight (literally) when Beyonce dropped her self-titled fifth album in December. The mystery man’s fingerprints were all over the sublime set — penning LP highlights “Haunted”, “Heaven” and “Blue” as well as co-producing most other tracks.

Given the deafening buzz around Jordy Asher (his real name), it’s probably not a bad idea to share some of his own music. Particularly when it’s as good as “Dust”. The sparse yet incredibly detailed production that resonated so strongly on Beyonce is present and the newcomer demonstrates an uncanny knack for tapping into emotional anguish. Listen to moody jam after the jump.
