Robin Thicke teams up with Tamar Braxton for the remix of his 2013 single “For The Rest Of My Life”. A love letter to wife Paula Patton, the romantic ballad was originally sent to urban radio as the follow up to mega-hit “Blurred Lines” but got a little lost in the mix when the chart-topper refused to die. This version should give it a whole new lease of life.

“I knew when I laid my eyes on you, the lights from above seemed to shine only on you,” sings the “All The Way Home” diva before Robin steps in with his smooth falsetto and continues the story of young love. “For The Rest Of My Life” sounds great in its original form but the addition of Tamar makes it feel like a brand new song — adding a welcome female perspective. Listen to their duet after the jump.
