Jess Glynne Strikes Out On Her Own With “Home”: Watch The Rising Star’s New Video
If you don’t know who Jess Glynne is yet, don’t worry you will soon. The rising British diva has spent the past three weeks at number one in the UK as the voice of Clean Bandit‘s all-conquering dance smash “Rather Be” and is now branching out on her own with achingly good solo debut “Home”.
The gritty slice of grime-infused pop is the perfect introduction. Jess’ soulful voice hovers over strings and beats (courtesy of producer Bless Beats) singing “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure, home at last know the fight gets better” in the insistent chorus. As for the video? It’s fairly minimal but still captures the song’s joyous sense of relief and release. Watch up top.
