Ari Gold Celebrates 10 Years Of “Wave Of U” With New Remix Cut To The Classic Video: Watch

Ari Gold is celebrating 10 years of breakthrough single “Wave Of U” today (February 18) with the release of a maxi-single (remember those?) featuring remixes of the gay anthem. The slinky floorfiller heralded the debut of Logo TV and broke new ground by celebrating gay and transgender eroticism in its black-and-white video.

The updated version, now called “Wave Of U (2014 Subgroover Radio Remix)”, freshens up the production — a decade takes its toll on the best of us! — but the song is still instantly recognizable with that evocative chorus and Ari’s smooth vocal. The clip, which pays tribute to the late, great Herb Ritts, has been recut but still uses the original footage. Watch up top.
