Pharrell Announces Solo Album ‘G I R L’: See The Cover & Trailer
Following his complete takeover of the pop consciousness in 2013, which resulted in four Grammys, Pharrell has built up more than enough good will for the right to release another solo album. And so he has announced the LP G I R L, which will drop March 3 and feature his Oscar-nominated hit “Happy,” which he’s performing at the BRIT Awards tonight (February 18) and at the Academy Awards.
Of his first solo full-length since 2006’s In My Mind, Skateboard P says it’s “festive and urgent.” Watch the album trailer below, which features his hats and tears.
