Natalia Kills Fights Her Demons In Gritty “Trouble” Video: Watch
Natalia Kills‘ excellent sophomore set Trouble was perhaps the most slept on pop album of 2013. Here’s an LP that bravely explores multiple genres and delivers beautiful melodies and catchy hooks but still found no love at radio. Go figure. Hopefully, the anthemic Jeff Bhasker-produced title track can wake people up.
And the visually arresting video can only help Natalia’s cause. It documents the adventures of doomed lovers as they spiral out of control in a blaze of sex, drugs and violence. The 27-year-old is known for gloomy videos — see 2011’s wonderfully demented “Wonderland” — but this could be her most fully realized visual yet. Watch the criminally underrated diva in action up top.
