Their name might sound like a dish from a Chinese restaurant but Peking Duk is actually an Australian EDM duo from Canberra. Buzz has steadily been building around them for the past couple of years thanks to high profile remixes and club hits like “Mufasa” and “Feels Like”. The DJs stand on the brink of a well-deserved commercial breakthrough with new single “High”.
Featuring the smooth vocals of Sydney-based diva Nicole Millar, “High” is a shot of pristine electronica with an ambient twist and a distinct pop sensibility. Everything about this little gem is well executed — from the icy synths and to the weird and wonderful video that finds people dressed in animal costumes wandering through an acient forest.
