Rick Ross’ ‘Mastermind’: Stream The Full Album
Rick Ross‘ star-studded Mastermind drops March 4, and the mammoth Maybach Music boss is streaming the mammoth album ahead of its release. Upon first listen, there seems to be a lot of standard Rozay fare, and one entirely too long skit (it clocks in at 2:53). So, not surprisingly, the songs with the A-list guests leave the biggest impression.
Of course, there’s “The Devil Is A Lie” with Jay Z, which is the truth, but there’s also Kanye West and Big Sean grinning on the warm, soulful “Sanctified,” and Lil Wayne getting introspective over the quiet boom-bap of “Thug Cry.” Also, I was not expecting “Mafia Music III” to be a foray into dub.
