It’s been a minute since we’ve heard from Cher Lloyd, but the British singer announced the details of the release of her aptly titled Sorry I’m Late LP, which she initially teased back in October. The album will get a May 27 release, and as part of the rollout, she’ll select a fan who will, in conjunction with the MTV Artists app, get to exclusively unveil a track.

“What I love most about my fans is that they aren’t afraid to be vocal when they want new music from me, so I thought why not let them be the ones to release it?” Lloyd said in a statement. Now there’s an example of a healthy and symbiotic stan-artist relationship.

That’s not all! On March 14, a week before she heads out on Demi Lovato‘s Neon Lights tour, Lloyd will premiere her new single, “Sirens.”
