JoJo Hits The Studio With Legendary Songwriter Diane Warren
Pop fans around the globe breathed a collective sigh of relief when JoJo revealed she had finally broken free of Blackground Records (AKA the worst label on earth) and signed a new deal with Atlantic. It turns out the 23-year-old is already in the studio cooking up hits with legendary songwriter Diane Warren.
This is great news. Nobody knows their way around a big voice better than Diane — her track record of writing chart-busting ballads for Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Cher and Christina Aguilera speaks for itself — and the duo previously worked together successfully on JoJo’s sophomore set The High Road. Together they created “Exceptional” and “Note To God”.
