Christina Perri Lands Another Knock-Out Punch With “Burning Gold”: Hear The ‘Head Or Heart’ Gem

Christina Perri is on a roll. The talented 27-year-old is shooting up the Billboard Hot 100 with Head Or Heart lead single “Human”, while newly surfaced gem “Burning Gold” indicates it wont be her last smash from the album. The uplifting mid-tempo pop song reminds me of “Miles” (my fave from the diva’s debut LP) — only with a more upbeat perspective and beefier chorus.

“I’ve had enough, I’m standing up,” she declares before tearing into the catchy chorus. “I’m setting fire to the life that I know, let’s start a fire everywhere that we go.” This infectious anthem will help radio programmers fill the void left by Sara Bareilles‘ not entirely dissimilar “Brave”. Both tunes make you feel a little better about life, which is no small feat. Listen after the jump.
