Foster The People Reveals Their “Best Friend” Cover Art And Lyric Video

Foster The People has already moved on from Supermodel lead single “Coming Of Age”, revealing the cover and lyric video for “Best Friend” today (March 11). On first listen, the Paul Epworth-produced psychedelic-pop track is a marked improvement on its curiously underwhelming predecessor.

“When your best friend’s all strung out, you do everything you can ’cause you’re never gonna let it get him down,” sings Mark Foster over jangling guitars and splashes of percussion. It’s the kind of subtly catchy jam that catches up on you after a couple of listens. Watch the kaleidoscope-colored lyric video after the jump and get amped for the band’s sophomore set.
