Say Lou Lou Are Golden On “Everything We Touch”: Listen

Say Lou Lou, like fellow emerging synth-poppers Kate Boy, share an Australia-Sweden pedigree, and Say Lou Lou’s new song “Everything We Touch” shares a line with the chorus from Kate Boy’s “Northern Lights” — but the similarities end there. “Everything We Touch,” which gets an official release on May 19, is straightforward pop at its finest, finding 22-year-old twins Miranda and Elektra Kilbey delivering their most anthemic song yet.

Following the sullen glamour of “Better In The Dark” and “Beloved,” this track is, first and foremost, a singalong. Their usual billowy electronics are there, of course, but this time it’s all complemented with some earthier elements — namely, pianos and guitar reverb — with the chorus soaring over everything.

The song will appear on their debut LP, out later this year on Columbia Records. Hear it below.
